Transport and Installations

The transfer of the work of art to its final destination is frequently spectacular, especially when it is a monumental work. When it concerns a special or complex installation, some of the craftsmen follow the work of art to its destination and look after its final installation. Two such examples are the statue of Saddam Hussein and Bonanno Pisano’s ‘Porta di San Ranieri’.
