The scanner enters into the foundry to reproduce the stone where the beautiful Lotte, queen of an island in the Northern lands, will be seated. It is a very complex work that however lets us understand how the new technologies, in this case, the laser scanner, marry with the traditional techniques of a foundry that practices fusion in lost wax. The work of the artist Sean Henry has been lowered by a helicopter.
Realised by the Fonderia d’Arte Massimo Del Chiaro and painted in the artist’s studio in London, it measures 184 cm in height, 112 cm in length and 186 cm in width, its net weight is 378 kg.
